Faith is the antidote of fear. Hope is the antidote of depression. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1 (NIV). Faith is not belief alone, but is the tangible foundation of belief. Faith is a gift of God; however, exercise of faith is our responsibility!
What is FEAR? False Evidence Appearing Real. An unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.
What is Hope? A feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. HOPE is “Having ONLY POSITIVE expectations
A. Believing in yourself
B. Accepting who you are
C. Loving yourself
D. Recreating yourself
Pro 3: 5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Isaiah 40:31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Hebrews 11:1 now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE IS NEEDED AGAINST SATAN AND HIS ANGELS WHEN THE AFFLICTION IS FROM THE EVIL SIDE.
A. “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” 1 John 5:18-19
B. We have power for spiritual warfare: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:19-20
C. Command the evil spirits to leave. “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. “ Matthew 11:12

THE NAME I LOVE - IS THIS THE NAME YOU LOVE ABOVE ALL OTHER NAMES?
THERE IS A NAME I LOVE TO HEAR, I LOVE TO SPEAK ITS WORTH, IT SOUNDS LIKE MUSIC IN MY EAR, THE SWEETEST NAME ON EARTH.
“Therefore (because He stooped so low), God exalted Him to the highest place, and gave Him THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY NAME that at the Name of Yeshua every knee should bow - in heaven and on earth and under the earth - and every tongue confess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord (the Heavenly Master), to the glory of YHWH, God the Father.” Philippians 2:5-11
THE NAME I dearly love – the Name I love more than any other name, is not my own name, it is not my husb and's name, nor my son’s name. It’s not the name of a friend, or someone whom I greatly admire. It is the Name of my FATHER - my HEAVENLY FATHER. And my Father’s Name is also included in the Name of His beloved Son - my SAVIOUR - a fact that gives the Son’s Name such a significant meaning, and such sweet fragrance.
Many believers have discovered the real, authentic Name of the Heavenly Father. Of course, it has always been there - but it has been long neglected or covered up.
Personally, in discovering the original, revealed Name, I have come to understand in a new and deeper way, the unity of the Father’s Name and the Son’s Name. With that discovery, there has come also a deep love - a love that makes me want to tell everyone about that wonderful Name. In the words of my Saviour . . .
“I WILL DECLARE YOUR NAME TO MY BRETHREN,
IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION
I WILL SING YOUR PRAISE.” Hebrews 2:12
For years I was content to call my Father and my Saviour by the various accepted English titles and substitutes - God, Jehovah, Jesus, Lord, Christ. Then I discovered that these are not the ORIGINAL NAMES of the Father and the Son. God, Lord and Christ, are, in fact, descriptive TITLES, and they are titles that need to be defined, for in the world there are “gods many,” and “lords many” - and especially these days, there are many “Christs.” 1 Corinthians 8:5. Matthew 24:5
Christians insist rightly, of course, that there is only one true Lord; there’s only one true God - the Almighty. But other religions also use the terms “Lord”, “God”, and “Almighty” in referring to their gods. Therefore we must define what we mean when using these terms - not for our own sake, merely, but for the Truth’s sake. Indeed, the eternal destiny of many, depends upon it - the Truth!
Normally we describe the attributes of the One we believe to be “The Lord”; and in so doing, we usually fail to mention His Name. Some even feel that the Almighty God is too big to have a Name, and that it is quite sufficient to refer to Him simply as “God,” “Lord,” or “Lord God.”
In the Preface to its 1973 edition, the Revised Standard Version (1946), expresses this idea when it comments on the Name of God: “(1) the word ‘Jehovah’ does not accurately represent any form of the Name ever used in Hebrew; and, (2) the use of any proper name for the one and only God, as though there were other gods from whom He had to be distinguished, was discontinued in Judaism before the Christian era, and it is entirely inappropriate for the universal faith of the Christian Church.”
Point one is true. “Jehovah” is not a correct form of God’s Name. Point two however, is not true!
The ancient Hebrews, several hundred years before Messiah came, began to refrain from speaking the Name out of extreme reverence for the Name. They used the words Adonai (Lord), or Ha Shem (the Name), in its place.
But the Name was WRITTEN, and still is, in the Hebrew Bible. And to maintain that it is inappropriate for God to have a Name in the Christian Church, is absurd! There is not one man on earth who does not have a name. And if there is not a single known species of insect that does not have a name, why should God not have a Name? And certainly the true God MUST be distinguished from the multiplicity of so-called gods. They are false, of course, but to the peoples of the nations they are real. Hindi gods are also referred to as God with a capital G.
It is because of the “God-is-too-big-for-a-Name” attitude that many Christians have defaulted, and settled for using the titles “Lord” and “God” as substitutes for His real Name. It’s like saying, about a human father, “Oh, I’m not sure what my father’s name is. I just call him ‘Daddy’.”
Our Heavenly Father DOES have a Name - a Name of which He Himself has declared, “This is My Name forever.” That Name is written in the Hebrew Bible 6,855 times. But the Christian Church has largely been robbed of the Name.
to be continued... WHAT IS OUR FATHER’S NAME?

An estimated one in every three women worldwide experiences violence, with rates reaching as high as 70 percent in some countries. Gender-based violence ranges from rape to domestic abuse and acid burnings to dowry deaths and so-called “honor killings.” The problem is not only worldwide, but is prevalent within our churches, and within our nation.
Like most Americans, I am horrified by this violence. In 2009, in a poll three in five American voters said that addressing global violence against women and girls should be one of the top priorities for our government.
A lifetime full of violence is not something that women sign up for. In the Middle East women are being beaten, sexually maimed for religious purposes. What is more horrific is that women from Islamic religions accept the sex-maim procedure for their daughters at an early age. This is child cruelty and abuse. Such practices are performed without anesthesia!
Our government has established laws, but this year President Obama signed a new law which will allow protections against gay, lesbian and transgender victims as well Native Americans, and undocumented immigrants in the reauthorized Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). As a non-profit organization, and as church leaders, we must take action against violence. Domestic violence is a cycle that is not easily overcome. The hatred, anger, control, and manipulation of these individuals is terrifying. How many more must endure the cruelty of abuse by the person whom they love? Many are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder; depression is on the rise nationwide, and many who are involved in the church or in ministry are cohorts of this crime.
The statistic below were quoted from “In-The-Desert.com”
Mojave, CA, Violent Crime, on a scale from 1 (low crime) to 10, is 6. Violent crime is composed of four offenses: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault. The US average is 3.
Mojave, CA, Property Crime, on a scale from 1 (low) to 10, is 6. Property crime includes the offenses of burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, and arson. The object of the theft-type offenses is the taking of money or property, but there is no force or threat of force against the victims. The US average is 3.
This is the town were my family and I reside and crimes of passion, or just plain abuse is still prevalent and increasing in our community. Help by making a difference in our community. We need shelters, homes, or a safe haven to place women and children who are in desperate need to escape the fists that are incorporating pain into their bodies.

For those who know me pretty well, know that I hate gossip. As a matter of fact I get very upset when those in the Christian community; our churches, fellowship, and other seminaries get into vain debates about it's memebers.
Speaking evil of another person may seem harmless to you or the listener, but what you are really doing is poisoning yourself, and speaking curses on the person you are speaking about. The bible is very clear when it comes to gossip, envy, and jealousy.
Job_15:5 For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.
Job_20:12 Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;
Job_20:16 He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him.
Job_27:4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
Speaking evil against anyone is a dangerous weapon that the enemy of our soul uses to kill our reputation, our character and even our lives. Prayer has been removed from school but witchcraft prayers and the way of the pagans is acceptable! Woe unto all of you who have despite the Word of the Creator. What you speak about someone is what reflected in your own heart.
